2004
Straits Global Trading Pte Ltd was incorporated as centralized trading and marketing Entity for the Group. Historically, Straits Global Trading operated as commodities trader dealing in coal, copper, gold and silver.
2008
Straits Global Trading redefined its focus to exclusively deal with coal.
2010
Effective on 31 March 2010, Straits Global Trading changed its name to Tiger Energy Trading Pte Ltdwhich reflecting the ambition of Tiger Energy Trading as the leading international coal trading and marketing company in the world.

Tiger Energy Trading is growing with customers’ needs and providing shipping and logistics management including optimizing supply chain logistic and long term competitive fright strategies, pricing and industry analysis, derivative traders.
